Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) is one of the most prestigious private universities in Taiwan and has been ranked top 10 university nationwide.

Since its foundation was an agriculture and engineering college in 1953, CYCU has enrolled students in a wide range of majors such as science, engineering, business, design, electrical engineering & computer science, humanities, education and law, with 28 departments, 32 graduate programs, and 13 Ph.D. programs. The campus is located close to the station which offers the convenience of any urban transportations with shops, restaurants and night markets. Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) annually offers several Summer Programs as a part of its goal to a more enhanced global education. The summer programs were first held in 2007 to provide international college students with going-out opportunities to learn the Chinese language and gain experience of cultural and academic life in Taiwan. Since then, these programs have continued to develop and to try more unique and diverse activities, while attracting more participants every year. The short-term program includes classroom lectures, visits to corporate sites, cultural experiences and field trips to historical and spectacular places in Taiwan. International students will have many chances to much understand the dynamic aspects of the past, present and future of the Taiwanese society.
